It was my second time to welcome the Chinese New Year overseas. As international students in United States, we could not stay at home with our families or enjoy the 7-day long holidays in China, but we still made it fantastic!

A get-together night. 20 more friends. A full table of cooking stuff. Then our dumpling-fun night began!

Haha, isn’t it amazing? It is the filling for dumplings made by three people, and I was one of them:) We did it by mixture of pork, cabbage, green onion, oil and seasonings. I don’t have any picture for our dumplings though, since we just have no time to think of photos but eat them all once they were ready.

Yeah! We were welcoming the new year! Many thanks to every friends who got together with us, and made this celebration possible on the Chinese New Year’s Eve. Wish everyone a successful and prosperous Rabbit Year!
